Lost Weekend

What a weekend! I have done nothing, zilch, zero, sod all and I don't like weekends like that. It all started on Friday when I had every intention of going to Gerry's pub, staying sober watching the band Bladdered!! and coming home at a reasonable hour. I did take the car, spent less than 15 minutes in the bar when Scoot and Gerry persuaded me to leave the car and get a taxi home. I argued that I only had 20 quid with me but they were hearing NONE of it. At 5.30 am we eventually left the building, stood for 20 minutes ,in the blistering cold, waiting for a taxi to take us home. I got in at 6.15 am and had to get up 2 hours later to get the Princess from her sleepover! I was shattered all day, falling asleep at 8 o'clock that night and missing all the dvd's that were chosen for my viewing pleasure!

Today I have the start of a cold, sneezing, snottering,streaming eyes etc. I am not a happy bunny. I have NOT finished the curtains, I have NOT finished Marilyn, I have NOT done any housework, I CANNOT be bothered to do a thing. Woe is me.........sniff sniff
