I want to be rich and not work!

Then again, so do we all! I don't know where I have time to work. I have too many things to do like organise sleepovers, blogging, surfing the net, online shopping for wool and books, knitting, sewing, cooking, etc etc etc etc etc (note:-cleaning is not included!!!). In a vain attempt to win the Lottery, we put on 2 lines using the numbers from Early Edition. Now how desperate is that? Do you remember that programme? Where the bloke wakes up each morning with tomorrow's paper on his doorstep and he has to avert tradgedy? One of yesterdays programmes ( the whole day was dedicated to Early Edition) was about the lottery and the ethics of purchasing a ticket when you already know the winning numbers ( and corruption related to the aforementioned lottery!!) I must admit, if I were in their shoes, I would have no hesitation in BUYING a ticket!!! Imagine all that wool and stuff I could buy! The only moral dilema I would wrestle with would be whether to fulfill my 4 weeks notice at work or whether to tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine!! Anyway, we used the winning numbers in Early Edition!! You will never guess what happened............ against all odds.................we won...............................wait for it............................ yes you are right................................. diddley squat!! Ah well, that's what greed does for you!!!

When I went to pick up some more of the super duper chunky wool for Marilyn, the bloke in the wool shop engaged me in the following conversation

"we have just got some new wool in, come and have a look before you go"

" Have you, lets have a peep then"

"I only have a few colours and I have some Rown True Botany at £1.99 a ball"

" that wool, is gorgeous but don't show me any more. I will be in bother if I take home any more before I make a dent in what I already have!!"

"No, I have to show you, if it weren't for you , I would be out of a job"

Do I have such a wool fetish??? I know I have, I can't resist colour and texture! I am always getting my hands slapped and a "do you HAVE to touch everything??" directed at me when we are out!!
