Took the DQ back today and "popped" into HK Handknits...if you can just pop into such a gorgeous shop!! After much discussion and advice regarding the pattern, from Julie, I emerged with this beautiful shade of Jamiesons Shetland Spindrift 2ply wool. I am aiming to knit the Flower Basket shawl from the Interweave Knits magazine ,Fall 2004, for my Mummy, for Christmas. The only snag is, I am not sure what her favourite colour is as she wears every colour under the sodding sun, favouring none! I think we should just call her Joseph from now on!! Anyone who knows her...SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH cos it's a secret!
