Nearly one week on......
and I am exhausted!! This is worse than having a baby! Not only am I busy at work, but this new hairy child is such a mischevious wee thing, I spend most of my spare time watching her antics. Skeggy has been at the vet three times this week as she has a bacterial infection which is affecting her eyes and breathing. She sounds as if she has asthma! Trying to purr and breathe is very diffucult for her but she tries hard. She has turned the corner and is on the road to recovery. Whoopeeee!!!! A few mornings ago the postie brought me a package containing some Shetland, icelandic and eyelash wool all from the wonderful Yvonne who posts on the Rowan website. What a lovely gift it is. The Icelandic wool she kindly sent so that i could make a Kitty Pie bed for Skeggy. I am not sure what I am going to do with the Shetland, I will have to scour the pattern books! A massive Thanks to Yvonne. Talking of pattern books I bought the Patons winter warmers book and a poncho pattern today along with 2 balls of baby wool for the mountain of baby cardigans I have been asked to do. I don't know if I should keep going with them and finish them all off at the same time or alternate between them and other projects. I am undecided as yet! What I do know is that Skeggy's bed is finished and in the washing machine as I type......... will it felt?? As usual, Who knows!!! We are off out with my brother, Bruce and my new sister in law, Christina for dinner so I'll be off. I will try not to ignore my blog as much in the coming days, I do enjoy writing rubbish to you all!! Toodle-pip!
