Hallowe'ens coming....
.... Witches will be after you!!! I have been out into the garden today for the first time in weeks and I must say it is all looking a bit forlorn! Leaves everywhere and dead or half dead plants struggling in the cool! The only blaze of colour is my pumpkin. At work , my group are engaged in an ongoing context for learning ( the old fashioned theme!!) all about growing. I did not want to present the usual naff seeds such as cress and flowers to the Orange group so whilst buying lunch one day I noticed a packet of pumpkin seeds. Needless to say, I quickly bought them and returned to the nursery and we set about planting them. The rest is history !! At Nursery, we have three healthy pumpkins, slightly larger than the ones shown on here, all waiting to be carved for Hallowe'en! Wooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I'm blogging early than usual today as my Man and I are going out to the Yang Sing for lunch/dinner. I am such a fan of that Chinese restaurant! All You Can Eat?? I never manage to eat as much as I want!!
