Monday 6th September 04
What a day!! As it is a public holiday today I woke up nice and late ( 9.15am) and watched a bit telly while knitting the brown and biege bag to be felted. I ha dplanned to go to Falkirk fo a bit of shopping once Leigh was up. She checked her messages on her schools website and was immediately pounced upon by a few of her classmates asking why she was not at school? Apparently, Falkirk Council do not have their Public Holiday until NEXT Monday! Well how was i supposed to know?? Stirling Council who employ me have theirs this week!! How daft is it that two neighbouring councils have chosen their holiday dates at seperate times? Oh well, Leigh will have two Mondays off in a row! On a more positive note, I lost 1lb at my Slimming Class this week!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! This makes it 4 and a half to date...I must keep it up!! I must NOT try a piece of Banana Raisin Loaf that I made earlier! .....................maybe just a little slice...???? Im off to finish the last handle of my felted bag before i put it in the washing machine. I have never felted before and am quite excited at the prospect! Ta ra to anyone who finds this blog!
