Baby Boredom
Is it just me or does anyone else find knitting for babies a tedious task? I have been asked to knit a load of baby first and second size matinee jackets and cardigans. I bought some wool and cannot for the life of me concentrate on the task in hand! I knit a few rows and then get up and do something else. I just cannot focus. I think it is because they are so small and the project is over before you know it! I like the challenge of a bigger garment/project where you ease gently into it, rough the boring bit in the middle then get onto the last sleeve and there is light at the end of the tunnel! I always feel a tad sad when I've finished and it's like saying goodbye to an old friend as I've spent so much time and effort on it! Am i the only saddo to feel this way? Should I be applying for Shady Oaks (copyright: G + J Goodman) now? Still no digicam and I am beginning to give up hope! I will search my documents and find a piccie to add..... Blogs are better with pictures in my opinion!
